MORDOVIA ARENA
The Mordovia Arena is a football stadium in Saransk, Republic of Mordovia, Russia, built for the 2018 World Cup. It will also host the Mordovia Saransk football club to replace the Start Stadium.His works began in 2010 under the responsibility of the SaranskGrazhdanProekt group led by the German architect Tim Hupe. The stadium consists of a two-story stylobate, and the arena is protected with a cup-shaped roof, which serves as a vault for the spectator area.The walls of the stadium are made with hanging metal panels, perforated and whole, with bright colors.
